Welcome to the Flyers Hockey Club - Skokie, IL

The Flyers Hockey Club provides the youth of our community (ages 6-18) the opportunity to take their hockey play to the next level of advanced development and levels of competition. Flyers Hockey Club instills in our players the positive values of good sportsmanship, teamwork, self-discipline, and responsibility through the sport of ice hockey.  If you are looking for a higher level of competition, involvement and greater commitment to the game of hockey, Flyers Hockey Club is for you!

Team schedules have been posted in the "Calendar" section.  Make sure you select the Level "Tag".

 

Our coaches are ready to go and eager to get the season rolling. Our head coaches will include Craig Johnston (Mite AA), Steve Glickman (Squirts), Ted Wisnieski (Pee Wees), Jim Pfligler (Bantams) and Mike Tompkins (Midgets). In addition; we are happy to have Don Howard (formerly with Evanston) joining our coaching staff as the Mite A head coach.

USA Hockey Registration Information

AHAI requires the purchase of your player's 2011-12 season USA Hockey Insurance directly from USA Hockey.  All players MUST bring a printout of their USA Hockey Registration Confirmation (complete with barcode) to the first tryout or, submit a copy with their Flyers Tryout Registration form. Midgets Majors Win NIHL Championship Game

Coach T's Midget Majors defeated the Kenosha Komets 4-2 in Joliet on Sunday morning to win the NIHL Midget A Elite Championship!  Way to go Flyers!

Pee Wees take Fourth!

The Skokie Flyers Pee Wee team lost 3-0 to the Northbrook Bluehawks in their NIHL Consolation Game at Fox Valley.  Congratulations to the Coach Pfligler's Pee Wees on a successful season!

Mites Victorious in Cleveland

Congratulations to the Mites on winning the Rock 'n Roll Tournament in Cleveland over Thanksgiving weekend!  The Mites rolled with a record of 3-0-1.  Way to go Flyers!

Bantams Take Second Place

The Bantam Flyers battled to a second place finish in the Johnny's Ice House Thanksgiving Tournament.  The Flyers made it to the finals with a balanced effort throughout the tournament only to succumb to a last second goal in the championship game. Congratulations Flyers!
